Calendar Booking
10 TopicsCalendar Date Differentiation
I need to create a more easily identifiable and differentiated date font (bold, highlighted, ... something) to draw the attention of dates that have services available versus dates that do not have services available. Currently, the Black vs Gray color palette is hard to see with the thin lines of the font face on some monitors (i.e. laptop in sunlight, mobile phone in any light, brightness/contrast of any screen, etc.). Not to mention the difficulty of new/infrequent users or those with old/weak eyes or other impairments would have and would lead to user frustration. Believe it or not, the 15th shown above has available time, but it's lost in the gray text everywhere. There is a font-weight tag in the CSS of the table ( font-weight: 700; to the ".datePicker .bookable" class), and editing a local copy (i.e. not server-side and therefore can't be saved) only allowed a "little" better boldface (1000 max vs the 700 default) than what you see above. Is this something that we can get access to in the theme settings maybe? Or just have defaulted to a heavier emphasis for those dates with available services? Maybe a gray ring around the date that then turns to the theme highlight color when selected?1.1KViews2likes3CommentsOffer booking slots that are actually not available
Hi! I wanted to offer some slots for my colleagues always on wednesday from 10:30-11:30. The problem is that my calendar is actually blocked there but this is only a blocker, in fact I am available there... how can I nevertheless offer these slots? The system does not show the slots because it thinks that I am "unavailable".. Also, I would like to inform my 2 other colleagues about it, whenever somebody booked a slot with me, is there a way of automizing it? Thanks 🙂 Viktoria532Views0likes0CommentsBookings Generate Wrong Meeting Link in Teams App
I created a calendar and a service using Microsoft Bookings. This service is created for the use of company employees and I am not sharing it with an external audience. When someone books my calendar using Microsoft Bookings, both me and the respective person, get an email notification and it also gets updated in our respective calendars. The challenge is that I (whose calendar is booked using Microsoft Bookings) get the correct link in the Teams app while the person who books the calendar gets an incorrect link starting from visit.teams.microsoft.com/.... It seems like the Teams app doesn't support this link, hence, the person who booked the meeting using Microsoft Bookings is forced to use either the link received through an email notification or an Outlook calendar (browser). Also, using either of the mentioned methods, one can join the meeting but only through the Teams browser and not the Teams app. Because I am using Microsoft Booking for the employees of my company, it is difficult for me to explain to every employee about this challenge. Most of the employees are using the Teams app. They either end up leaving the meeting or create another meeting at the end. I want to fix this. Can someone help me here?2.5KViews1like5CommentsService with duration of 1 day has no availability, 9 hour duration has availability
Bookings Calendars are not showing availability for Services with a duration of 1 day. We're setting up a calendar with services that are only available for full days. The Booking Calendar's General Availability is set to 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Services are not assigned to staff, and bookers cannot select staff. When I set the duration of a Service to 1 day, on the Bookings page that service has no available days, but when I set the duration of the same service to 9 hours, the Bookings page shows correct availability, with the difference being staff have to click the Day and the 8am time to place the reservation. This is affecting multiple Bookings calendars. This appears to have begun in the past 24 hours. Working in another calendar yesterday we used 1 day-duration Services without issue, but in that same Calendar, those same services do not show any availability today. A coworker created a new calendar late yesterday and first observed the problem, and I created a new Bookings Calendar this morning and confirmed the same issue is there.1.5KViews0likes2CommentsBooking name not showing up
Dear Sir or Madam, I am desperate, as I cannot find out why the name of the caller is not displayed by our partner. The calendar only shows his name, but not the participant. However, all details are filled in. Would you have the solution for me? Thank you very much1.3KViews0likes0CommentsDates are showing incorrect in the calendar booking
Within the bookings app the booking appointment details are incorrectly showing todays date and not the appointment date causing confusion. The booking is scheduled for 9/14 but, when you open it to see the details it shows today's date. As long as you close the window and "discard " any changes, the 9/14 appointment is unaffected. Please let us know if there is an additional item that needs to changed.1.6KViews1like1CommentMissing feature - amend a booking
There is no way to manage the booking after it has been added to the staff members's outlook calendar. The meeting invitation should contain a link bringing them to the Manage Booking page, but it does not. Updating the calendar invite to a different day/time or canceling the meeting does not update it for the client either. These are simple ways to make Bookings work better within the organization.Solved1.1KViews0likes3CommentsQuestion regarding MS Booking for single users and groups, & Synchronization with multiple calendars
Hi all, I currently use Doodle.com to prepare meeting polls which allows me to schedule meetings by giving several individual externals several availability slots to chose from. Once the polling is over then the overlapping time can easily be found allowing me to schedule the meeting based on the most convenient time, which is then added automatically to my primary calendar. It seems to be similar to what I have read for FindTime although its functionality seems to be limited to being an outlook add-in. Doodle has been great because: - it allows me to synchronize all my calendars (work and personal) to facilitate the selection of my free time slots to propose to the externals while preventing conflicts with any of my calendars. -it allows each individual external to select which time works best for them. From a different front, I use calendly to allow a single individual external to book me (only) by going to my page which contains my availability: https://calendly.com/vikyverna/. When an individual external books me a meeting invite is automatically added to my primary calendar. Additionally, calendly also allows a single individual external to book not just me but also a whole team (i.e. https://calendly.com/confinis-corporation/). The published availability for the whole team is based on the availability of each individual internal team member who get to synchronize their work and personal calendars to calendly. When an individual external books the team a meeting invite is automatically added to my primary calendar of each of the individual team member's primary calendar. Now when it comes to MS Bookings, I like the feature it has that neither Doodle nor calendly has (to my knowledge) to allow an individual external to not only be able to book me but also select other specific staff. However, before taking the leap I wanted to verify if it also has the functionalities that enjoy from Doodle and calendly above; specifically: Meeting poll preparation for several individual externals with the following capabilities Synchronization with several calendar sources (not just outlook) (for a single user and for each member of an internal company team where applicable) Automatic display of available slots (to avoid conflicts with several source calendars) for a singe user (me) and team (several members with each being able to source from their multiple calendars) Automatic invite to primary calendar (of a single user, and of each member of an internal company team where applicable) after best time is found. Time slot selection by a single individual external to book me, any members of a team (i.e. staff), or a whole internal company team; with the same synchronization and display capabilities listed above. If anyone could let me know if all of these features are available in MS Bookings that would be great! Also, is MS Booking available for free on Office Enterprise E1 - If my requirements above are met I will upgrade my account from Office 365 Business Essentials to Enterprise E1. Please advise. Thank you in advance for your attention to this request and pardon the length.3.1KViews0likes1CommentMultiple Customers for Same Time Slot
Hello Anyone! How do I allow multiple customers or in my case employees to book the same time. I am hosting a series of meeting for my employees in which 12 employees can attend. I need to allow the time slot to be booked until it is full. Does this feature exist? If not I will have to use another platform. Thank you for your time, help, and attention.5.8KViews0likes2Comments
