Media Player theme bugged
Noticed that the past couple of Dev builds have a broken media player where the theme is all black and it also looks like the layout is bugged, see screenshot below. I've also submitted feedback with a screen recording but wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this.
Azure Tiles Not loading with MS Edge Beta v147.0.3912.16
In the latest version of MS Edge, we cannot view or access the SAML Certificate data for Enterprise Applications hosted in Entra ID. Before: (v146.0.3856.62) After updating to v147.0.3912.16: As can be seen, the certificates cannot be displayed or accessed from this tile. This is affecting our test users who cannot rotate their SAML certificates but may have other impact for other Azure resources being accessed with MS Edge Beta.
o3-mini not returning reasoning tokens
Hi, I work on a service that leverages o3-mini via Microsoft Foundry. In the past few days, I've observed that when calling o3-mini via Microsoft Foundry, that completion_token_details always has the reasoning_tokens value set to 0, regardless of the reasoning setting being used. In my testing, it seems that the reasoning is still occurring, as increasing reasoning value causes the completion_tokens field to increase by a good amount, but none of the reasoning levels cause the reasoning_tokens value to be anything other than 0. I Run Windows 7 Ultimate x64 And I need to Activate Windows, I am used to the new aka.ms/aoh replacing the phone line. But I Have Activated Windows XP & Vista Without Any Problems Multiple Times, I Tested It Too, Tried 7, Starter, Home, Pro, Ultimate, Even x32 & x64. Though, No matter what, everything BUT Windows 7 Works. This Is Clearly a Server Sided Issue And I've Had This problem for the past months maybe even about a year. (The Product Key I Am Using Is Not Public on The Internet So It's Not Blocked/Used Publicly By Everyone, it is the same product key that came with the CD) And I Can Say For Certain This is a Server Sided Issue. Critical Pen Hover & Stray Ink Issue on New Surface Pro 11 for Business with Slim Pen 2
Hello Microsoft Community and Support Staff, I am writing to report a critical and seemingly widespread issue with the pen input on the brand-new Surface Pro for Business, 13-inch (Intel model, often called Surface Pro 11 "Luna Lake"). The Core Problem: Pen Draws Without Touching the Screen When using the Surface Slim Pen 2, the device begins to register ink input while the pen is still hovering a few millimeters above the screen. It does not require any physical contact or pressure. This "hover-inking" makes handwriting completely unusable. As I write, any time I lift the pen to start a new letter or stroke, the pen continues to draw a line as it moves through the air to its next position. This results in messy, connected handwriting with unwanted "tails," completely defeating the purpose of having a premium inking device. This is Not a Defective Unit - It's a Replicable Problem Initially, I thought I had a faulty device. However, to isolate the issue, I have performed extensive testing: I have personally tested this on [3] brand-new Surface Pro 11 (Intel) devices. I have used [4] different Slim Pen 2s. The exact same hover-inking problem occurred on every single combination of device and pen. Furthermore, I have already performed all standard troubleshooting steps, including: Clean OS installation via Surface Recovery Image. Ensuring all Windows, driver, and firmware updates are installed. Running the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit (which reported no errors). However, the same issue continues to occur even after trying these methods. Additionally, it has been reported that the issue also appears on the latest Surface Pro 12-inch model with the Snapdragon X Plus, just like on the Surface Pro 11 that uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite instead of Intel’s Lunar Lake. (I do not own any Snapdragon devices myself. If you own a Snapdragon device and are experiencing the same issue, please share your feedback.)" Hi, I have a weird issue with some users, Teams seems to be duplicating old Skype for Business contacts until it maxes out at 15000 contacts. I have been digging into it a bit and found out the location of the folder through Exchange powershell but I can't clear or delete it. Skype for Business is phased out and disabled in my tenant for a long time now so I couldn't do much there, I can't login to it through powershell. We've had Teams since like 2017 so I suspect this is a niche legacy issue popping up recently somehow. Manual deleting is possible through the browser environment but that is such a hassle because it keeps glitching if you delete per 100 and skipping pages and stuff, need to refresh constantly. Just a pain, it would take days. And no guarentee its not coming back either. See screenshots. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this? You can’t scroll all the way down in longer notes anymore in the Android app. The keyboard covers part of the note. I already tried to update it an reinstall it. Many users have this problem. This makes the app almost unusable. I'm on OneUi 7. I attached a screenshot with a transparent keyboard.
[Wayland] PWAs no longer appear as separate app windows — all group under main Edge icon
Hi, Since around 2025-09-07 to 2025-09-10, I’ve noticed that on GNOME (Wayland) all installed PWAs (even across different profiles) now appear grouped under the main Edge browser icon in the GNOME Shell dash/taskbar. Previously, each PWA would open in its own window group with its own icon. This is still the behavior in Chromium/Brave/Chrome, and can be restored there by editing the PWA’s .desktop file to set: StartupWMClass=<same value as Icon> However, Edge now seems to ignore StartupWMClass completely on Wayland, breaking workspace separation and making task switching hard. Environment: Ubuntu 25.04 GNOME 48.0 / Mutter (Wayland) Kernel 6.14.0-29 Intel Iris Xe GPU Edge (latest stable, observed post 2025-09-13) Repro steps: Install any PWA (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Spotify) from Edge Launch it (from any profile) Observe that it appears grouped under the main Edge browser icon Expected: PWA shows under its own icon and window group like in Chromium-based browsers Actual: All PWAs are bundled into the main Edge window group Editing StartupWMClass in the .desktop file no longer helps This regression makes PWAs much harder to manage on Wayland. MS Edge - Sidebar and copilot not working on Linux Ubuntu v24 LTS
Sidebar not syncing or accepting new app additions (+). Copilot button is dead/inactive. Sidebar settings are well configured. Using the latest version of the Ubuntu OS and MS Edge. Functionality appears to be absent as product was released without full functionality....Lame!
