Opening and Viewing Option for Two MS Project Files Simultaneously on Two Screens?
Hi Can two MS Project files be opened on two different screens at the same time? This option is should be there as it is for other usual MS software like Word, Excel etc. Hope this can be fixed as will ease out while working from two parallel files simultaneously. Appreciate if this can be looked at, please asap. Looking forward

How to integrate Ms Project Online Desktop Client with Ms Teams Project App and Todo Planner?
Hello All, I am looking for a way to integrate my desktop Project client with Teams. Couple of questions that arised: I am working in desktop client. Can I save and have an immediate integration of the project in Teams? Example: A Team of my choice can access my file in the form that Teams allows, with buckets and timelines and charts and everything? I am working in Teams tasks kanban board. Can I save and export the board into desktop client? Let's say a project had been run in a kanban board so far and I have assigned People, tasks, due dates, labels etc. I don't want to manually copy every single information but would like to just somehow export the whole data into desktop format. How to Open a XPS File on My Mac?
Hey everyone, I recently received an XPS file from a colleague, and I'm using a Mac. I've been struggling to figure out how to open this .xps file on my MacBook. It seems that XPS files are not natively supported on macOS, and I'm not sure what the best way to go about it is. Does anyone have experience with opening XPS files on a Mac? Project Web App and Power BI Integration
Hi, I'm trying to connect my data from Project Web App iunto Power BI but the error message, "Failed to update data source credentials: The credentials provided for the OData source are invalid." I have copied and pasted the PWA site link direct from the site so there are no typos in the site name and have tried to connect anonymously and with basic credentials (using my site login). Additional info that may be useful: I have a Project Professional 3 license with admin permissions, along with a Power BI Pro license (60 day free trial).

MS Project tasks progress approval for Project Manager does not work
Hi all! I am setting up Project Onilne in my organization, unfortunatelly we don't have experienced professional in Project Server settings, and it looks quite tricky for me to understand all of them. I also tried searcing the Internet, but didnt sucseed, it looks like functionality I'm asking below have to work by default, but it's not. Here is the problem itself: user set to be project manager doesn't see time reports, which are sent by project team members for approval. What I got in place: - project exists on server - project team can see it and work with it: team can enter hours at the area "my tasks" accessed from leftside quick launch menu, team members also successfully send hours for approval - User, who should approve progress has the following settings (just checked right now): ** he is included in "Timesheet managers" (I have read somewhere that this appointment applies from the next schedule created and i created schedule after appointment done) ** he is included in "Project Managers" group, "Project Managers" group has included categories "My Tasks" and "My Projects" ** These categories "My Tasks" and "My Projects" have permissions set with default template sets of permissions for "Team member" and "Project Manager" correspondingly. ** global permissions for group "Project Managers" are set with "Project manager" template "Timsheet settings and defaults" section option "Task Status Manager Approval" is set to "Enabled" and "Require line approval before timesheet approval" turned on. Me, having admin rights can see all tasks & their hours submitted for approval. Could you please advise if I missed somthing in settings of server or permissions for groups to give Project Manager ability to approve task hours submitted by team?

I am new to the Microsoft Project and have been going thru tutorials. Each of the tutorials show go to File, Save As an (Project Name.mpp) in Documents or other. I have the Microsoft Project Professional, should it be stand alone on task bar or grouped with my other apps on Edge. I am not finding any area to open and show Project.mpp Any help please. JC

Good day I've been trying to delete a resource that was initially deactivated (went back to school full-time) and later reactivated when he came back but I'm now realizing that his profile has errors. i tried deleting to reopen a new one but I cant seam to figure out a way to do that. Please help

Hello - is this only available for SharePoint On Prem? I have a do a demo on projects and I got a P3 licence with the intent of showing how to integrate with SharePOint but I don't have these options on the left wth my desktop client. I have an SPO account not on prem. I don't have a https://xxx.onmicrosoft.com/sites/pwa/default.aspx page. I just have the web app location https://project.microsoft.com/xxx.onmicrosoft.com/en-US#/hubnew What am I missing? This site tells there is functionality for "Timesheet submission". https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/project/compare-microsoft-project-management-software i´m trying to figure out if there is a way to access this functionality through a mobile app? Thanks!
