How to Open a XPS File on My Mac?
Hey everyone,
I recently received an XPS file from a colleague, and I'm using a Mac. I've been struggling to figure out how to open this .xps file on my MacBook. It seems that XPS files are not natively supported on macOS, and I'm not sure what the best way to go about it is.
Does anyone have experience with opening XPS files on a Mac? Are there any reliable third-party apps or methods that you can recommend? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to view and work with XPS files on my Mac.
Thanks in advance!

Here are some options to consider:
Use a third-party app: You can use third-party apps such as TunesBro XPS Reader that is a software program that allows users to view and open XPS files on their computer. XPS stands for XML Paper Specification, a file format developed by Microsoft that is used for sharing and printing documents. For details, please visit here: https://www.uubyte.com/blog/how-to-open-xps-file-on-mac/
The TunesBro XPS Reader provides a user-friendly interface for browsing and reading XPS files, as well as the ability to zoom in and out, search for specific text, and navigate through multiple pages. It is a useful tool for individuals who frequently work with XPS files and need a dedicated program for viewing them.
Convert the XPS file to PDF: One option is to convert the XPS file to PDF, which is natively supported on macOS. There are various online converters available such as Zamzar or you can also use Adobe Acrobat DC.
Use a virtual machine: You can run a virtual machine on your Mac and install Windows, which has native support for XPS files. You can then open the XPS file from within the virtual machine.
Ask your colleague for another file format: If none of the above options work, you can always ask your colleague to send the file in another format such as PDF or DOCX. This may be the simplest and most practical solution. - Laikeddosz -- Well, first of all, you have posted this question in a user forum dedicated to Microsoft's project management tools, such as Microsoft Project. Your question has nothing to do with this forum. Secondly, I do not mean to scold you, but I just looked up the answer to your question on ChatGPT. Why don't you try doing that as well to find the answer on your own? Hope this helps.
