Authorise standard user for certain app
Hi guys, I want allow the standard users to run games on their account (specifically garena and league of legends) however as I click play, garena then opens an app call gxxhelper (garena platform service) and this requires admin password. I've tried the create shortcut with saved credentials but this wouldn't work as garena opens another app. It's pretty stupid if I just give the other users admin rights, I could be locked out of my own computer. I have also tried task scheduler and the admin compatibility tool but they didn't work either. I have also tried to make the program to always run as admin (under properties) but this option makes the app unusable, the game probably not allow modification of client's files. Is there another option to make this works? Cheers,
Change Admin Account of teams organization to my another account with 365 subscription.
Accidentally my Teams Organization was created from my personal account which did not have Office 365 subscription. But I have another account with 365 subscription already purchased. But since admin change is not accepted unless we buy office 365, I am not able to change the admin to main account. Please help me out with this.Shared Device / Encryption and Admin
I am deploying a few machines as shared devices as described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/configuration/shared-user-device-settings Can anyone help me clarify if I can deploy a Bitlocker configuration profile to these devices, as they will only be operated by standard users? I'm also wondering what the best practice is for local admin rights. For just a couple of machines I have software that won't deploy nicely so was wondering how to do a local install on the machines? I also have something that needs elevated rights when run as a standard user. This is not my field of expertise and I'm struggling to find answers online, so perhaps I'm asking the wrong questions! Grateful for any guidance!
