missing page numbers and total page count

All of a sudden, ALL my WORD documents no longer have page numbers and total page count, and the footnotes have also disappeared. Help!?!?

@RuthRuth35 It sounds like your document may be in Draft view.  Go to the View tab of the ribbon and change to Print Layout View.
