export doc to pdf on mac

Hi. Really silly question, I need to export my word doc to pdf. I use a MacBook air. any suggestions will help. I have looked in the tool bar and searched it. I'm still not having any luck.

I use a MacBook Air too...am writing on it now. With a Word doc, there are two ways to get  the file to PDF.

1. File....Save As (or Save a Copy)....and then select PDF as the file type
2. File....Print...and down at the bottom left of the dialog box (the expanded dialog box, perhaps) click on PDF and proceed from there.
