Windows login screen takes too long to appear
After I press the power button, the Windows boot logo and loading spinner appear normally, but the login screen takes an unusually long time to appear, often remaining on a black or blank screen for several minutes before showing the password field. The system eventually loads and runs fine once logged in, so the delay seems isolated to the pre-login phase rather than overall system performance.

Restart your PC and interrupt the normal boot process three times to trigger Automatic Repair.
Your photo and description show that Windows reaches the lock-screen background, but the sign-in controls are delayed for several minutes. Because performance is normal after authentication, this reflects a pre-login display, driver, or service stall rather than general slowness. First disconnect docks, external displays, and nonessential USB devices, then reboot. When the blank wallpaper appears, press Windows+Ctrl+Shift+B once to reset the graphics driver. Next start Windows Recovery Environment, choose Troubleshoot, Advanced options, Startup Settings, and test Safe Mode. If sign-in appears promptly there, update or roll back the display driver and install the PC maker’s current chipset and graphics packages. If Safe Mode is equally slow, review recent Windows or driver changes; use System Restore only when the timing matches a recent change. If the delay remains, capture the exact duration and submit a Feedback Hub recording or Microsoft support case rather than repeatedly forcing shutdowns.

Force your PC into the Windows Recovery Environment (by interrupting the boot process three times). From there, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair and let Windows try to fix itself automatically.
