Windows 11 lacks the ability to display File Explorer side by side

I've been searching for a solution to this question without success. In previous versions of Windows, it was simple to arrange two or more open File Explorer windows side by side with options for stacking or cascading them. You could achieve this by right-clicking the Taskbar (refer to the image below - apologies for the poor quality).

Is there a way to achieve this in Windows 11?

In Windows 11, you can arrange the File Explorer windows side by side as follows: First, open the desired File Explorer windows and make sure they are not maximised. Then, arrange them manually by dragging the window title bars to the side of the screen, or use the Window button on the taskbar to select the appropriate layout. If necessary, you can use shortcut keys (e.g. Win + ←/→) to quickly reposition the windows.
You can create a new virtual desktop by pressing the Windows key + Ctrl + D, and then move the File Explorer windows to the new desktop. This way, you'll have two separate desktops with File Explorer windows, effectively creating a side-by-side layout.
While Windows 11 doesn't have the classic cascading or stacking options from previous versions, the introduction of Snap Layouts and the ability to manually resize windows still allows for effective multitasking, including on File Explorer. With a bit of practice, you'll find that it's fairly easy to arrange your windows as needed!
