Win11 Focus Assist turns on automatically without user action
Even if no automatic rules are configured in the settings, Focus Assist will activate automatically.
It turns on automatically for no apparent reason when you launch a game, play a video, or share your screen. After you manually disable it, it will be temporarily turned off, but it will automatically re-enable after a system restart or when the system wakes from sleep.

If the problem is caused by deeper system file corruption, more significant action may be required. A "Repair Install" re-installs Windows while keeping your files and apps and can resolve many stubborn problems.
