Win 11 will not load after coming out of sleep mode

I would like to like your response as I have the same issue with my 18 month old acer desk top. I have spent days searching the internet for a solution and most suggestions are similar to what you have provided.  But I don't understand how someone is meant to follow the steps outlined when sleep has shut down the screen and all usb and dvi ports.  NO screen access, NO keyboard access, NO mouse access - just a box with a light that is either off, on, or flashing.  This is not a hardware problem this is a Microsoft problem (a BIOS problem) why does sleep disable existing usb connections in the first place and why when I press the power button (once really quickly) do the usb periferals still fail to connect?   Sorry I am very frustrated at loosing $1000 worth of computer equipment simply because I wanted to save the planet; if you had suggested throwing the computer in the bin and purchasing something from their over priced competition - you would have got the like because right now it's the only solution I can think of.
