Removing English (US) with Registry Editor?

Hi!

English (US) kept appearing in my Keyboard Layout even though it wasn't set as a language in Settings, so I deleted this whole directory using the Registry Editor with advice from another discussion and it fixed my problem:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ContentIndex\Language\English_US

Is that fine, though? Should I worry about the computer or anything similar?
