Printer Won't Print or Goes Offline Randomly
I am experiencing issues with my printer where it either refuses to print or randomly goes offline without warning, which disrupts my workflow. Despite multiple attempts to reconnect or restart the printer, the problem persists, and it often requires me to troubleshoot repeatedly to get it back online. I want to understand the possible causes behind this unreliable behavior, whether it’s a connectivity issue, driver problem, or something else, and find a reliable solution to prevent my printer from going offline unexpectedly.
Any advice or step-by-step guidance on how to fix a printer that won’t print or frequently disconnect would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. Reconnect the printer to your device or network and see if it appears online.
Hi SasK, random offline printers are often a network port issue more than the printer itself. If it is on Wi-Fi, give the printer a fixed IP address and use a Standard TCP/IP port instead of WSD. I would also update the printer firmware, reinstall the vendor driver, and restart the Print Spooler after clearing stuck jobs.
