Post-Login Black Screen on Windows 11
After logging in, the screen remains black with only a visible cursor. The desktop and taskbar fail to load for several minutes. Why?

Hi clsnessar, black screen with only a cursor after login often means the desktop shell did not start, or the display driver is failing right after sign-in. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. If it opens, choose Run new task, type explorer.exe, and press Enter. If the desktop appears, then Explorer or a startup item is likely the problem. I would then disable non-Microsoft startup apps and update or roll back the display driver. If Task Manager does not open, boot into Safe Mode and remove the latest display driver or recent update, then restart normally.
