PC stops charging when the battery reaches a certain percentage

My PC stops charging when the battery reaches a specific percentage and remains stuck at that level even when plugged in for hours. The charging indicator shows it is connected, but the battery percentage does not increase beyond that point, and this issue is consistently reproducible with the original charger.
