My Pc always make a check disk and prevent me to use BIOS

The pc always when i boot it up it makes (Check hard disk C:) and never fix it just boot up after waiting directly to windows, it says (press any button to skip the check) and when i am trying to open bios it goes directly to windows because it's basically (any button), i was thinking abt the chkdsk prompt but a friend told me it would damage my SSD and I don't wanna make more problems for the PC.
