Is it safe to delete the previous Windows 11 installation files?
During a disk cleanup, the tool detected old Windows installation files that are taking up a significant amount of space, and I’d like to delete them to free up disk space. I’d like to confirm whether deleting them will affect the normal operation of the current system or any future rollback operations.

Hi Williams, yes, deleting previous Windows installation files is safe if you are happy with the current install and do not need to roll back. Use Storage settings or Disk Cleanup rather than deleting Windows.old by hand. Just remember that once it is removed, the built-in rollback to the previous Windows version is gone.
