How to fix: This PC can't run windows 11 vmware esxi

I'm encountering a significant challenge in attempting to run Windows 11 on VMware ESXi due to my PC not meeting one of the critical requirements - the lack of TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module). This realization came as a surprise, as I was under the impression that VMware could emulate or bypass such hardware requirements, enabling Windows 11 to run in a virtualized environment. However, despite various attempts at tweaking settings and exploring workarounds, I've hit a roadblock. The core of the issue seems to revolve around Windows 11's stringent security requirements, which my current setup fails to satisfy due to this hardware limitation.

Is there a way to configure VMware ESXi or the VM settings to simulate the presence of TPM, or perhaps another method to satisfy Windows 11's requirements indirectly?

Bumped up against this same issue; found this post here - should work on ESXi v8 as well.
