How to Clone Windows 11 to SSD free with larger storage space?
- Sep 24, 2024
Cloning Windows OS to new SSD without data loss is a very challenging task. Unfortunately, there is no official feature available on Windows 11 for doing this. I have spent three ways to finally find out a working way to do this. If you want to do this safely and comfortably, please follow the step in this guide:

P.S. It only took me one hour to fully complete the migration (1TB data to new SSD), which is quite impressive!
Typically, a disk clone will transfers all the data from an SSD to another drive, including operating system, installed apps, system settings and user data.
1. Operating System
The entire operating system, including all system files necessary for booting, is cloned. This means that the new SSD will be bootable, just like the original one.
2. Installed Applications
All installed programs and applications are transferred exactly as they were on the original SSD. This includes all settings, configurations, and data associated with those applications.
3. Personal Files and Data
All personal files, such as documents, photos, videos, and other data, are cloned over to the new SSD. This ensures that no personal data is left behind.
4. System Settings and Configurations
Any custom system settings, user profiles, desktop configurations, and preferences are carried over during the cloning process. This includes everything from wallpaper settings to complex system optimizations.
When you are planning to switch to a larger SSD, you can use this trick to clone Windows 11 SSD to new computer or larger SSD without additional effort and time.
