Has the Display/Project Options Been Removed from the Notifications Area GUI in Windows 11?

Copper Contributor

Has anyone noticed where the functional tabs in the Windows 11 notification area have disappeared to? After connecting to an external monitor, I find it challenging to locate the project settings in the right-hand notification area. Credit to the Microsoft GUI team, they seem to brainstorm ways to further complicate this already confusing layout.

1.Quick Settings: Click on the network, volume, or battery icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar to open Quick Settings. Here, you may see options for display and screen mirroring.
2.Settings App: For more detailed display settings, right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings." This will open the Settings app where you can adjust various display configurations.
3.Projecting to This PC: If you want to project to another screen, you can press the Windows key + P to open the Project options, or navigate through the Settings app: go to "System" > "Display," and look for "Multiple displays."
While the specific access methods have changed, the functionality remains available, just organized differently within the Windows 11 interface.
