Canon Pixma MG 3550 set up

Have installed the latest driver for my Canon Pixma MG 3550. I am fully up to date with Windows 11, have selected the correct WiFi network, followed all instructions to the letter. It refuses to detect the printer. Tried installing via USB, also refuses to detect the printer. Immensely frustrating. Would be grateful for any advice please.

Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues. Try restarting your router, wait for it to fully boot up, and then try to connect your printer again.

Make sure the WiFi indicator on the printer is steady (not blinking) and connected to the correct network.

Yeah, the Canon Pixma MG3550 can be stubborn with Windows 11.

I’d fully uninstall the driver, reboot, then reinstall the full Canon driver (not the basic Windows one). Try a different USB cable/port too, and if WiFi’s acting up, do a network reset on the printer and set it up again from scratch. Usually that gets it detected.
