Cannot switch thunderbolt network bridge from public to private for smb share

When I connect two computers through thunderbolt network bridge to transfer files, windows 11 treat the network as public network and doesn't have a place to switch network type, makes me unable to use smb(I don't want to enable network sharing on public network) . When would this be fixed?
