Autocorrect works everywhere except Copilot – any fix?

For a couple months now, autocorrect has stopped working in Copilot. It still works fine in the Settings app—typing "windosw" automatically corrects to "windows"–but in Copilot, nothing happens. No red underlines, no corrections. Notepad shows the underlines but doesn't correct either.

I've looked around for a fix but haven't found anything. It would be great if Windows autocorrect worked like SwiftKey on Android—consistent across every app. Anyone else dealing with this or know how to get it working again?
