22H2, notifications disappeared from settings
Hello,
After updating my windows 11 copy, I found the notification settings have disappeared from the settings - system page. Even when I try to reach them from other settings pages (e.g. settings -> system -> focus. At the bottom there's a link to Notifications) nothing happens. Notifications are however showing up and working.
Any hint on where to check to get my notifications settings back?

- Krasen007Copper ContributorI managed to solve this using third party tool WsBlocker https://www.sordum.org/11128/windows-settings-blocker-v1-2/
However I had to first "disable" the already disabled notifications, apply and then "enable" the notifications and it was working after that.
Hope this helps. - joebartlett_qnrlCopper Contributor
Hi all,
We had the same issue while testing Windows 11 and I thought I'd post our solution in case anyone else comes across this thread on Google.
We had a policy deployed via Intune to hide certain pages from the Settings app (e.g., Xbox settings etc.) which worked fine in Windows 10, but since things were rearranged in Windows 11 it turns out that the "Notifications" section was being inadvertently blocked. The specific change we had to make was to remove "quietmomentsgame" from our list of hidden settings pages. This is supposedly related to "Playing a game full screen" according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/launch-resume/launch-settings-app#gaming.
As I say we had to change our Intune policy, but in other environments this might also be configured via Group Policy or in the registry.

- Registry
- Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer - Value name:
SettingsPageVisibility

Hope this helps!

Apart from the manual solution mentioned above, unfortunately no. In my opinion it should be in any case possible to replicate the manual solution by "injecting" the registry changes made by the aforementioned tool via GPO or Intune.

I have also had this issue.
Upgraded two machines, one was totally fine. The other has notification settings missing like you.
- MaxMorsiaBrass ContributorI've found a partial solution, it's not really convenient on large numbers, but still it fixes the issue locally.
What I did was to get settings blocker from the link below, and basically forced each and every setting page to appear.
