Windows 10 Resolution Issue

Copper Contributor

A program on windows 10 taking advantage of a exclusive full screen with a smaller resolution (800x600) when hidden will FAIL to revert back to native resolution (1366x766)

Leaving a zoomed in windows screen with only the Search, task view, and first program on your task bar available to use.

There is no way to revert back to native resolution to select any programs

When restarted to fix the issue the login screen then remains the previous programs resolution (800x600) making the login screen unusable and unable to troubleshoot since only the first three buttons (Internet, accessibility, power) will be able to be viewed at this glitched resolution.

At this point you are unable to do anything but re install windows from a fresh disk.

This simple resolution issue has destroyed my OS twice

. Many programs use different methods of full screen. windows can not handle this programs exclusive fullscreen.

I would also like to point out the malware potential of a non-administrator program easily changing windows default resolution to and unusable state at login screen
