Win10 Jump Lists in taskbar sometimes do not show recently opened files when clicking the app icon

When you right-click an application icon on the taskbar, the jump list appears, but it does not display recently opened files or folders.

This issue often occurs in File Explorer, Notepad, and Office applications. Restarting File Explorer or the application itself usually resolves this issue temporarily, but after a few hours, the jump list may once again fail to display the history.

This issue is more common when the application is launched via a shortcut rather than from the Start menu.
