Hello everyone, I just moved from Linux to Windows 10. I see that when booting up Win 10, the password input box doesn't appear by default on the login screen, and in fact requires a keystroke to bring it up (and then type in password). This is pretty dumb. Is there a way for the password input to appear by default rather than the user actually having to press a key to make it appear?

@KapilAryaThank you Kapil for your quick response. I will do as you suggested. Just wanted to reiterate that I do actually need a lockscreen but want to avoid that extra keystroke to bring up the password dialog before typing in my password (that is, the lockscreen should, by default, display the password input box with the cursor active, ready for password to be typed in directly).
I suppose this is what the steps you suggested will do?
Thanks,
Kaushik
