How Do You Bypass Windows 10 Password on a PC without Reset?
Hi all,
My son's PC was locked as he forgot the login password after a recent password change. This PC asks him to reset the password every 30 days, and this is the mainly reason for this frustrating issue. I don't know much about tech details. Is there any easy to bypass Windows 10 password at login screen without reset?
There are many important files and app data on the C drive. Based on my research, the factory reset will delete personal files and app data. It could be best to bypass the login password without data loss.

Look at this picture, just select the account you want to reset the password for, then enter the new password, and that's it!

You can find instructions from co-pilot but you will have to prove to copilot you know what your are talking about before it will point you at the hard to find instructions for doing so. I polished how to do it about 20 years ago. It still works today as I just had to do it on a Windows 10 PC for my close friend who lost her password. "Microsoft doesn't support it and I don't guarantee it will work in your scenario. Or you won't loose all data on the drive if you corrupt the Sam Account database and can 't log in with any account.
