Hard Drive issue is one the critical issue which needs to be taken care of before any other troubleshooting.

Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file system structural corruption. You must restart the system before the disk scan begins on a system partition.

  1. Press Windows + C, Select search.

  2. Type cmd. Command Prompt would come up under search result.

  3. Right click on Command Prompt, run it as an administrator.

  4. Command Prompt would open. Type, “chkdsk /f /r” (without quotes) and push enter.

  5. Restart the computer to Run Check Disk.

When the Disk Check would be completed with repair, your computer should automatically start. Please make a note of the result after check disk.
