Repoint Suggested People to newly created advanced search page
We moved over to use SPO as our Intranet back in July and as part of this move I created a new search page using PnP Search, Results, Verticals. Included in this is a people search so when you use the main search box at the top of our communication site it takes the data you entered in the box over to our new search page, where it then returns the most accurate data you have requested. This also works great as a people search. Unfortunately, we have just realised that if you type the name of a person in the main search box and click on the suggested name, this does not take the data over to the new search page so you have to enter the name of the person again on that page. Has anyone else come across this and if so, how did you get around it?? I have spoken with the break fix team who have advised that there is nothing they can do to help with this. It would either be great to send the name to the new search page or switch off the suggested people element from the main search box. If anyone knows how to do either I look forward to hearing from you. thanks656Views0likes2CommentsPnP Modern Search - Query Term - Search Hub and Associated Sites
Hi, I have created an Advanced Search page with PnP verticals that I would like to search individual hubs and their associated sites. For example my verticals are as follows: All Hubs, Knowledge Hub&Associated Sites, Communities Hub, Colleague Hub The Knowledge Hub is the only one that has 30 plus associated sites and I would like to enter some query text in for the Knowledge Hub results to return results for that hub and all 30 sites. Does anyone know what the query looks like for this? I thought it was would be this:{searchTerms} RelatedHubSites:{Hub.Id} but this only works on the hub where the search page has been developed, I am hoping there is away to look across another Hub in a separate site collection? We are not ready to move fully to SPO as yet so I was hoping if I mirror the SPO Global TermStore on premise when I migrate a site to SPO it will use the global termstore and map the terms already selected as they will match the global entries. Can anyone confirm if this is the case or is there no point in tagging on premise documents if we are going to migrate to SPO?364Views0likes0CommentsSharePoint Online Search Issue

Please try searching again or refresh the page Does anyone know why? are we missing a setting config to allow searching against the hub? Hello All, I wonder if anyone can help with an issue I am having using the Highlighted Content Webpart. I have added the Webpart and when I click on Select Sites source and look for the site I need it doesnt appear in the 'Sites associated with this hub' list. It is the only one that doesnt out of the 27 associated sites. As far as I can see it is set up the same as others? Is this list set to only return a maximum of 26 Sites? What am I missing? Help is much appreciated. Thanks788Views0likes0CommentsSharePoint 2016 On Premise - Last Accessed Date (not modified)
Hi, apologies if I have missed a previous post but I am looking to see if there is a way to find out when documents/lists within a Site Collection were last accessed, not modified. We are looking to move to SPO and want to ensure a review is carried out of anything not accessed within the last 7 years. Many Thanks827Views0likes0Comments
