Shared Forms no longer loading in iOS 10.3.3 Safari
As of Thursday, October 24th, Forms that have been previously shared with my students no longer load on our classroom iPads. We see the green spinning dots and the word "Loading...", but the Form(s) never fully load. I'm running around 240 iPad 4s in my classroom, and the highest iOS we can run on them is 10.3.3. I've tried everything on my end, resetting the device, deleting the cache, deleting cookies, everything, but nothing works. I'm able to visit forms.office.com. I'm able to load up a Form for editing, but opening up a Form via a shared link (set for either anonymous and organizational login) does not load at all anymore. Please fix this! I use Forms for a lot of assessment and data capture with my classroom students, but we only have access to iPads running 10.3.3.6.8KViews1like16CommentsIssues with copy pasting multiple item list to automatically generate multiple-choice question items
I posted this issue on the Uservoice, but since it's important, I'm reposting here too. The process of copy/pasting a list of items (from Excel, OneNote, text editor) into a single item field of a multiple choice question to automatically generate the response items has a couple bugs. 1) There is a 37 item limit. A list of items bigger than 37 (I have 50 students each of my classes and I need to copy/paste their names into the form) causes Forms to freeze/not save beyond the 37th item. Copy/pasting my long list in separate chunks (copy/paste first 25 names, then the rest) does not work. Forms still gets stuck and is unable to save. My workaround is copy/pasting each student name (50!) one at a time ☹ 2) Although it may not look like it when copy/pasting a list of items to automatically generate response items, carriage return text strings are being attached to the end of each item response. All my responses now have a "_x000D_" at the end when I open up my resulting data in Power Bi, and having to work around that is tedious and frustrating. Bonus! Multiple choice questions with multiple responses enabled has a funky output too. If a user selects both my "Pitch" and "Rhythm" items, instead of the answer showing up as "Pitch;Duration;", it shows up as the following in Excel: "Pitch ;Duration ;" And shows up as "Pitch_x000D_;Duration_x000D_;" in Power Bi. These problems wrecked my workflow with 3 Forms I'll be using for the rest of the year with multiple classes. Please take a look into these issues. I posted this over in the Power users community, but it is Edu related. So I'm a teacher, and I use Power Bi to organize my student data (assessments, peer assessments) and give personalized feedback back to my students. Because of the licensing changes, the only way I can share my report(s) with my 200+ students is through a public link, which means everything has to be recoded and anonymized according to FERPA laws. No problem, I figured that out......except for the "See Records" option. I can't share my feedback data with my students because clicking See Records reveals student identity info, which is a big No-No in education. I need to be able to turn off "See Records".Solved8.5KViews0likes1CommentForms Excel Sheet doesn't refresh - Missing the add-in?
My latest excel files downloaded from my Forms are missing that little add-in that refreshes the data with new responses. Any idea how to fix this? Is there somethingelse I need to be running on my Surface? I'm running Office Insider Slow Ring 1703, Build 7967.2035 Andrew3.6KViews0likes5Comments
