Where are Stream files stored for Enterprise O365 Tenants?
Not, geographically, mind you - I'm looking for logical hierarchy, file path equivalent. The other O365 apps (for the most part) store their content -both uploaded and created - in SharePoint. One can navigate the root site file structure and find the 'raw' data, and even download it for backup purposes or to use elsewhere. My suspicion from what little I've found on the topic, is that this is not the case for Stream... Storage quotas are separate from SPO quotas Stream data isn't searchable via SharePoint ("yet") There's no integration for including/importing video files that are saved in SharePoint Please, somebody, prove me wrong!SolvedRestricted domains sharing at site collection level - no longer an option?
Directions to configure domain-restricted sharing at the site collection level was outlined June 2018 at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/restricted-domains-sharing?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fRestricted-Domains-Sharing-in-O365-SharePoint-Online-and-OneDrive-for-Business-5d7589cd-0997-4a00-a2ba-2320ec49c4e9 However as of today (May 2019) the options identified in step #4 of "To restrict domains in external sharing in SharePoint Online at the site collection level" aren't shown. (The options for tenant/org level restrictions, however, are still available) I opened a ticket with support, who was equally confused by the change, and her only conclusion was that perhaps the feature had been removed and now required a separate license. Hoping someone can provide insight on this! Thanks, JC1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: SharePoint Online vs. Microsoft Teams; Planner vs. Project; Sway vs. PowerPoint
In one casual sentence, if I'm understanding you correctly, you've made more sense than hours of wading through documentation. Essentially, they (Groups/Teams) are just user interfaces to the same back-end (Share-Point)... is that correct? If so, THANK YOU for the Eureka moment. If not, please do correct me so I can update my notes - a full-wall whiteboard - my own personal "infographic"!23KViews0likes3Comments
