Re: Unable to Download Windows Server vNext ISOs
Hi Tom, Some good steps there, all of which I'd performed before posting to the community forum. A couple of points that should be added to your list: 2a. Disable ad-blockers; ad-blockers can modify requests/responses that can break functionality of a website 2b. Check cookie + privacy settings in your browsers; these settings can also impact functionality of a website 2c. Check DNS settings; some DNS providers can inadvertently block site access, especially DNS providers that perform adware/malware/age-appropriate filtering I avoid contacting Microsoft Support where possible - 3-9 hour calls are soul-sucking, especially when all they can do is confirm you have a problem and suggest you start from scratch, log a bug report, or try posting in a community forum where someone may have already encountered the same problem. Thankfully whatever problem Microsoft were having server-side it got sorted in the time between my 1st reply and my 2nd reply.633Views0likes0CommentsRe: 'Copy Link' for Folder/Files does not work in Teams
JamesKearns We started seeing this problem on the week starting 5th July. There appears to be an issue obtaining sharing links from SharePoint Online via the Document Library tab in Teams. Our workaround was to swap out the Document Library tabs for Website tabs. After that the Copy Link functionality worked as expected.64KViews1like1CommentRe: Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2019 is live on the Microsoft Evaluation Center!!
In the interest of saving everyone's valuable time, it appears that Hyper-V Server 2019 no longer provides the ability to perform an in-place upgrade. Additionally running setup.exe on an existing Hyper-V Server (checked with 2012 R2 and 2016) and performing either of the setup options (upgrade or clean install) will result in a failed installation. Just tested these options with the latest ISO (17763.737.190906-2324.rs5_release_svc_refresh_SERVERHYPERCORE_OEM_x64FRE_en-us_1.ISO as of writing). The only way to install Hyper-V Server 2019 is to boot from the ISO and perform a clean install. It'd be nice if Microsoft documented this somewhere, especially as it's a behavioural change from past releases.14KViews1like5Comments
