Deleted computer object in local AD still in Azure AD
Hi, I'm dealing with a client who reported the following "issue". They have configured Azure AD Connect and device sync, everything seems to work. They deleted some computer objects from AD (dsa console) without disjoining them beforehand. Azure AD Connect continues to perfom synchronizations, but the computers still appear in Azure AD with Join Type <empty> (no longer Hybrid Azure AD Joined). I'm wondering if this is normal and those computersmust be manually deleted from Azure AD, or Azure AD should automatically delete the computers objects once the related AD object is deleted. Kind Regards, DavidRe: Skype for Business Server with Teams for Collaboration
Turismon null I will read the article and post a feedback on the thread. Companies based in countries where Teams is not "fully functional" will hesitate to migrate. There are rumors that say Skype for Business will die some day and be replaced by Teams. As long as Microsoft don't make Teams offline capable, SfB will be around still IMO1.9KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Skype for Business Server with Teams for Collaboration
Hi Chris, Thanks for the quick reply. Our client current has Skype for Business Server 2015. They are migrating to a new domain and initially wanted to implement Teams. Long story short, we won't be able to implement Direct routing as Audio Conferencing (which they currently use on their existing setup) is not available in Morocco. This is one of the problems, along side the limitations within the interoperability Teams-SfB. So they decided to deploy a fresh SfB on the new domain but also want to use Teams collaboration features.. Why would you avoid mixing SfB Server with SfB online ?1.9KViews0likes2CommentsSkype for Business Server with Teams for Collaboration
Hi community, A client will deploy Sfb Server on premises soon, but only wants collaboration features from Teams. I would like to know if there is a way to have Skype for Business Server (on-prem) and use Teams ONLY for collaboration, a sort of SfB with Teams collaboration coexistence mode, where SfB is hosted on prem. Regards,Import contacts to Skype for Business online
Hi, I am planning a migration from my current domain to a new one where the users will be migrated from the current domain then synchronized withe Azure AD Connect. I have an existing Skype for Business Server 2015 on-premises and an Office 365 tenant with some test users that I migrated and applied E3 licences. The goal is to retrieve users SfB contacts once they start using Skype for Business online (O365), if possible avoiding having to add them manually one by one. Is there a way to "export a csv" of one's contactsl list then import it to another account on Skype for Business online ? PS: This is not an hybrid deployment.Solved2.7KViews0likes2Comments
