Microsoft Applied Skills: assessment labs and support
Hello. I would like to report one problem: it often happens that an assessment lab for a Microsoft Applied Skill is planned for retirement on a specific day and the same lab is "undergoing maintenance" for a long time period, but that lab ends up not being available anymore before its final retirement. In addition to this, no information are shared and there is no way to monitor the availability of an assessment lab: the status post for Applied Skills Assessment Status that was available in the past is not working anymore and that post was not regularly updated as well. This is something that has already happened in the past. Is it possible to improve the way the information related to the availability of Applied Skills are shared? Also it would be appreciated if the unavailability of an assessment lab could be taken into the account before retiring one lab: postponing the retirement to compensate for the lab's unavailability due to the "undergoing maintenance" would be good and really appreciated. The same question applies to the " Microsoft Applied Skills: Deploy and manage Microsoft Azure Arc–enabled servers" applied skill: the "undergoing maintenance" information is too vague and there were other similar situations in the past where Applied Skills were undergoing maintenance for a long time period until the retirement date with no opportunity to take the assessment.63Views0likes0CommentsMicrosoft Applied Skills: Build an Azure AI Vision solution
Hello. The Microsoft Applied Skills: Build an Azure AI Vision solution is going to be retired on January 30 and it still undergoing maintenance. Is there any possibility for this Applied Skill to be available before being retired? Also is it possible to have a page listing the actual maintenance status and availability of all the Applied Skills as it was in the past? Thank you. Bye.132Views0likes1CommentRe: 🤜🤛 Meet and Greet
Hello everybody and nice to meet you. My name is Luigi Bruno, I'm from Lecce (South East of Italy) and I'm into the IT area for more than 25 years. My journey into the computer's world has started in 1984 when I was given my very first personal computer, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum: that was the starting point for a passion and a learning journey that has never stopped. I'm actually working as a SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Administrator, but I'm also interested in Power Platform (I'm studying for the Microsoft PL-200 certification exam) and cybersecurity. I've also been a Microsoft MVP and Windows Insider MVP for several years. When I'm not studying, learning or working, I like to play tennis and take pictures with my reflex camera. Thank you, Glenn. I know that page, but it does not contain any useful information about the status of the assessment labs. In the past months, I could not take an assessment because its lab was undergoing maintenance for many days and it was never available again before its final retirement day: I was looking for that page to be able to see the availability status of the labs. Hello everybody. The Applied Skills Assessment Status page is not available anymore at the old URL https://trainingsupport.microsoft.com/en-us/mcp/forum/all/applied-skills-assessment-status/be3cdf0c-297e-4765-b13f-cdb8b072539d Which is the new URL (if any) for this page? How can I see the status of the assessment labs for the Microsoft Applied Skills? Thank you.182Views0likes3CommentsRe: SC-300 exam and course content are very different
Hello Hector. As per my experience (I've passed many Microsoft certification exams), I can tell you that any Microsoft exam require a great experience in the specific area that is the subject of the exam: big and deep knowledge is not enough and the questions that you can find in the assessment will never be similar to the ones that you can find in the real exam. Many Applied Skills assessment labs are still not available. The "Microsoft Applied Skills: Deploy and administer Linux virtual machines on Microsoft Azure" one is undergoing maintenance for several days and it is planned for retirement on May 15. I've asked for an update about this lab but I've got no reply. Thank you.264Views0likes0CommentsRe: Is there a way to receive more storage space?
Hello BodhiSunridge. Execute the Windows Disk Cleanup tool as administrator and scan the disk: check the result and see what can be deleted to release some disk space. You can also use a tool like TreeSize to have a comprehensive picture of the way the disk's storage is used and decide what can be removed. Hello Nguyenais. As far as I know, you can upgrade directly from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but not from Windows 7 to Windows 11: a clean installation should be required, provided that your PC can fully support Windows 11. Bye.202Views0likes0CommentsRe: Three System BSODs ?
Hi Julioil. There could be different reasons for those bugcheck errors, maybe drivers or something else. The "caused by" information is related to Windows module that ultimately was involved in the chain of events that led to the error, but they could not be the real root cause. If you do not have WinDbg, share the .DMP files created by Windows using your OneDrive and post the link here: we could try to look at them and try to understand the root cause of the problem. Hello DravenPierce. The message states that the files needed to roll back to a previous version of Windows have been deleted from this PC. If more than 10 days have passed since the day you've upgraded to Windows 11, you have to backup your data and perform a clean Windows 10 installation. Bye.130Views0likes0CommentsRe: BSOD code 1a. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hi Mieowo. The value of the first parameter indicates a corruption of the PFN structures. If you do not have WinDbg, share the .DMP file using your OneDrive and post the link here: we could try to look at it and try to understand the root cause of the problem. Hi Eorku. Which channel are you enrolled into? If you want to immediately get out from the Windows Insider program you must perform a clean Windows installation. Also read the Leave the Windows Insider Program document. Bye.128Views1like0CommentsRe: PC Heather Check app Warning message, how to fix?
Hi Gcreyson. According to the information published at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors, your CPU is not supported by Windows 11. How did you install Windows 11 on that PC? Bye.1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Is azure certification enough to get a job?
Hello ericcartel113. A certification is a way for you to get a proof of your skills and knowledge, but you also need hands-on experience to be able to demonstrate that you are proficient in Azure and you can work with Azure. Also consider that Azure is big and complex platform and there are several different certifications related to it: you have to consider which one is closer to your skills and experience.
