Re: How to request 10 free M365 licences for NonProfit with a Godaddy M365 account
Hello. I am making adjustments to my original answer as the option provided by Ahmed above is a much more feasible solution that doesn't involve migration. GoDaddy can make this process difficult, the defederation, but once this is done, your account can be converted to a nonprofit account.738Views1like1CommentRe: Issue with Non-Profit Licenses – Credit Card Required
Unfortunately, this has now become the standard. Previously, there was an option to generate an invoice instead, but it appears that this feature has been removed. You won’t be charged unless you choose to purchase additional items beyond the granted total of 10. However, a credit card will be required on file.477Views0likes2CommentsRe: Non Profit Step 3 does not work
Hello Fabian_21 . I believe the issue is because you have a + sign in the second text box (phone number) where you are adding the rest of the phone number. You should only have the + sign in the first text box (country code) where you are selecting your country code.299Views0likes1CommentRe: Unable to renew Azure grant -- Nonprofit Hub is broken

Hello. In order to migrate your email data you can pull in a local partner to assist in the migration. If you would like to have your team, try own its own, to help you get started, Microsoft provides detailed guidance on migrating email mailboxes, including emails with attachments, to Microsoft services. You can find step-by-step instructions in this guide: Migrate other types of IMAP mailboxes to Microsoft 365 or Office 365 | Microsoft Learn This resource covers the process of migrating email from various IMAP-based systems into Microsoft 365, which is often the first step in leveraging Microsoft Groups effectively.1.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: problems with non-profit verification
Hello, I wanted to follow up on this and see if you’ve been able to find a resolution for the matter discussed above. If not, I was wondering if you have access to any of the following documents, as they might be helpful: IRS Determination Letter: A letter from the IRS confirming the nonprofit's tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) or another applicable section of the Internal Revenue Code. Certificate of Incorporation: Issued by the Secretary of State (or equivalent state agency), confirming the organization's legal establishment as a corporation. Employer Identification Number (EIN) Confirmation Letter: A letter from the IRS assigning the organization's EIN for tax purposes. Annual Filing Confirmation: Proof of filing required annual reports, such as IRS Form 990 or state-level equivalent forms. State Tax-Exempt Certificate: Documentation from the state confirming the organization's exemption from state sales, income, or property taxes, if applicable. Licenses and Permits: Special licenses or permits required for specific nonprofit activities (e.g., fundraising permits). Bylaws (Stamped or Certified): Certified copies of the organization's bylaws filed with the state or local government agency. Government Grants or Funding Agreements: Documentation of federal or state grants awarded to the organization, demonstrating its credibility and recognition by government entities.160Views0likes0CommentsRe: problems with non-profit verification

I am terribly sorry to hear of your frustrations ScottDart. Here is the link for Microsoft Support specifically for nonprofits. At the very bottom of the page type in "support" and it will reveal a form for you to fill out with your nonprofit details. I believe they have a much better response rate. I hope they can resolve this for you.568Views0likes0CommentsRe: How to Activate Workplace Benefits Program (formerly Home Use)
Hi ScottDart, you may need to sign in as a global administrator or as the admin who signed up for the nonprofit discounts. If that doesn't work, I would put in a support ticket for them to take a look on the back end.611Views0likes2CommentsRe: New pricing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 effective October 2024

Hi, Samantha151195 Based on the information you provided, it seems like you may need a multi tenant-to-tenant migration. You will most likely need to get a partner that is well versed in migrating tenants. We have someone that we are willing to refer that works with nonprofits if you are interested.224Views0likes0CommentsRe: Best way to merge non-profit onmicrosoft.com domain into existing Primary domain
Hi Dave_Hickman,. Based on the information you provided, it seems like you would need a tenant-to-tenant migration opposed to just porting over your domain. You will most likely need to get a partner that is well versed in migrating tenants. We have someone that we are willing to refer that works with nonprofits if you are interested.224Views0likes0CommentsRe: Offers/Discounts for Volunteers of Non-Profit
Hi weslowsk. We usually advise organizations to save the 10 free business premium licenses for their internal staff members. If your volunteers require the use of user accounts, it may be best to utilize the 300 free business basic licenses that you have access to in the marketplace via the admin center. Be advised that the difference between the Business Basic and Business Premium licenses is that basic users won't be able to access the application version of the Microsoft apps. They can access the online versions only by going to www.Microsoft365.com and clicking the apps icon on the left-hand side. If you have a set number of devices that are reserved for volunteers, I recommend you getting them registered with Intune which is also included in your granted offerings. I hope that helps!480Views0likes1CommentRe: New to Powerpoint

Hi Nova_Atena , just in case this issue is not a matter of clearing the credential cache it sounds like you're encountering an issue with Microsoft 365 licenses and device activations. Each Microsoft 365 license can be assigned to either one user or one device at a time. Users can log into up to 5 devices concurrently per license. Based on the message you received, it seems that you're attempting to activate Microsoft 365 on a sixth device under an existing user account. To resolve this, please follow these steps: Check which devices are currently signed in: Navigate to the top right corner, click on your name, and select "View Account." Scroll down and click on "Devices" to see the list of devices currently using your Microsoft 365 license. Sign out of Microsoft 365 on one of the devices: Identify a device that is not in active use or remove access for that device to free up a license slot. You can do this by signing out of the Microsoft 365 applications or revoking access through the device management options. Retry registering the new PC: After freeing up a license slot, try registering or signing into the new PC again under the desired user account.260Views0likes0Comments
