Re: Full access with mail enabled security group access denied
Before creating another DB I would try to repeat the steps using just web GUI. Open ECP, go to Group tab and create another security group. Click + symbol and choose Security Group. Is the group created, go to Mailboxes tab (or Shared in case the target mailbox is shared) , find the mailbox you want to grant access to, open it's properties and choose Mailbox Delegation. Scroll down to Full Access and add this newly created group. Add yourself to the group and after a couple of minutes try to open the mailbox in OWA. I am sure that you probable already know all these simple steps, but I would give a try.5.6KViews0likes0CommentsRe: OFF 365 users in Exchange Hybrid have emails going in to junk mailbox even though on prem disabled
As far as I know, you cannot simply disable Junk-Email in Outlook for cloud based mailboxes. This setting will not be applied. You can instruct your users to add false positives to Safe Senders and Domains List in Outlook or in Outlook on the Web. You as administrator can also add certain domains and senders in the users own lists using Powershell Set-MailboxJunkEmailConfiguration Please find the description here: https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/powershell/module/exchange/set-mailboxjunkemailconfiguration? Another approach would be to create custom Junk-Email Filtering policy and apply it to a certain users, groups or domains. You can also modify Anti-spam inbound policy (Default) to white-list certain senders and domains. We have, for example, more that 120 in allowed domains list1.1KViews0likes0CommentsRe: How to configure dynamic mail group on the hybrid exchange deployment
Hope the following article will help you https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/groups-and-distribution-lists/dynamic-distribution-group-members-not-receive-emails Mailboxes that are migrated to Microsoft 365 become mail-enabled users in the on-premises directory. Resolution Use the Set-DynamicDistributionGroup cmdlet to update the filters for the dynamic distribution group to include mail-enabled users.1.9KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Unable to send .docm attachments
I hope this will help in case somebody else runs in the problem. The solution was to enable (uncheck) corresponding attachment in the default Anti-Malware policy. The custom Anti-Malware policy we have created to allow the attachment have no effect on outgoing messages. Regards Eduard17KViews4likes0CommentsUnable to send .docm attachments
One of our clients is sending us email messages as Word document with macros as .docm files. Firstly we run into problem that my users are not receiving files of that type. The problem was solved by creating a custom Anti-Malware policy with .docm files being enabled and applying it to an AD group. This works fine and the recipients are now able to receive and open these files. Now we have a problem that we cannot send these files back to the customer and generally to any recipient outside the organization . Messages are being delivered, but the attachments are being replaced with a text file with the name “Unsupported File Types Alert.txt”. If you open the text file, you can read “This message was quarantined as malware.” Please note, the problem is related to outbound messages, which we send to outside. We have our mailboxes in Exchange-Online and using Microsoft® Outlook® für Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2109 Build 16.0.14430.20292) 64 Bit Since hours I am trying to find a solution, but without success. I hope someone has an idea 😊17KViews0likes1Comment
