Re: Intune tenant migration
Well actually, There's domain A, domain B Accounts A, Accounts B and the UPNs of those accounts. Domain A is going to be migrated to domain B, Accounts A will be synchronized/mirrored in Accounts B, but UPN B is going to be replaced by UPN A, and UPN B will be added as an alias. If that makes any sense..136Views0likes3CommentsIntune tenant migration
Hi, I could use some help about an Intune tenant migration. The company I work at acquired a company last year, and they have an Intune environment already that needs to be migrated to our organization's tenant. I found some information how I could possibly do this with Windows Autopilot, and going for a wipe and re-deploy. Their domain isn't migrated yet, and they are still using their own accounts and license. They have a 2nd and separate account from our company domain. What would be the right order? Do the domain migration first? Or assign licenses and policies to our accounts, and when the domain migration is done and the accounts are synced as one do the Intune tenant migration? Some advice would be very appreciated!248Views0likes7CommentsWindows Autopilot and selecting the right application type
Hi All, I was told that Win32 apps are better for the enrollment and deployment of Windows Autopilot Devices, and also the Out of Box Experience in general actually. Alot of applications are now available as Microsoft Store App (new). Would it be better to switch to that for a smoother enrollment?SolvedRe: Block Windows 10/11 Home enrollment
Hi Sebastiaan, Thank you for responding. I've applied assignment filters on our policies and profiles, so that should be fine., but we don't want any Home devices in our Intune tenant. Thank you for the information regarding device platform restrictions, I will look into it! Seems like the best way to go at it.1.6KViews0likes0CommentsUser Assignment Autopilot Issue
Hi guys, At the moment I'm busy with doing some testing with/for Windows Autopilot before we fully implement it in the company I work at, and I was trying to assign an user to a specific device to personalize the OOBE, which didn't work. What I found on the doc.MS website was that if ADFS is used, the user assignment isn't forced. The website doesn't show any solution, so I suppose there aren't any. But it doesn't hurt to ask! So does anyone have any experience with this or has any tips and tricks?1.1KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Intune: Restricting iOS Devices That aren't Enrolled
Hi Oktay. Thank you for responding! No ABM or Apple Configurator. I am indeed using the Company Portal. It's a Compliant, corporate phone. Thanks for the advice! Really appreciated. I'm going to check how it reacts to this CA settings and let you know! I am actually testing it on my own company phone with my credentials.2.8KViews0likes1CommentIntune: Restricting iOS Devices That aren't Enrolled
Hey guys, I could use some help. Currently busy with a project to enroll company phones to Intune, but we want phones that aren't enrolled to be blocked from using Office apps with their work credentials. I've tried setting up a Conditional Access policy for this, which works perfectly for Android but not for iOS. I'm testing it myself, the policies and applications are deployed and the phone is compliant, but everytime I open an Office app it states "Enroll your device to gain access" and the Company portal opens. If I unselect the "Require device to be marked as compliant" under "Access Controls > Grant" in the Conditional Access policy, I get access. Thing is, access is also available for iOS phones that aren't enrolled. Anyone else that has experienced this?Intune Read Role
Hi guys, I hope you guys could help me with this weird lil issue. I've assigned a security group for the Read Only Operator role in Endpoint/Intune. I've added three members to the group. In the Audit logs in the AAD it states that the membership is succeeded. For some strange reason, they can't see/"read" devices in the Endpoint manager portal and in the notification it states "You haven't enabled device management yet. Click here to start". I've tried to test it with a test-account, works perfectly. Have any of your experienced this?Solved4.8KViews0likes8CommentsIntune Mobile Devices force automatic enrollment iOS
Hey guys, Is there the possibility or an option in Intune to force an automatic enrollment for iOS devices? End-users will probably not enroll their devices in Intune if they can still normally use Outlook or Teams. I thought of using a Conditional Access policy, but if users can enroll their devices without needing a manual would be better. Does anybody have any idea? Thanks in advance!Solved
