Re: Finding data not on a list
Many thanks for this, sorry my wording was poor in the inital I meant to type "I;m looking to tra and find all the data" even though I meant names still. This is basically what I am looking for except I would need the results to be back into 2 columns - First and Last names seperately. Do you know if there is a way for me to do this? Thanks again15KViews0likes2CommentsFinding data not on a list
Hi guys, I'm using Windows 10 and Office 365. I'm looking to try and find all the date that is not on a different list. I have 2 lists of names, 1 which is split into First and Surname (say column A and B) with around 1500 rows and another with first and surname in one column (say c) but over 3000 rows. Is there any way for me to compare the 2 lists to find the names which are MISSING, I can find the names which are on both but unable to find the names which are in the 3000 and not in the 1500. Hi everyone, I'm using windows 10 and office 365. I was hoping you could help me to change the output of a max function. I'm trying to use a formula that would assign a value of 1/2/3 to the ouput depending on if the highest value is in column A/B/C. For example: 967 616 599 1 440 507 200 2 271 193 491 3 494 534 291 2 Where the final column would have the formula creating the results of the max from the 3 others. I hope this somewhat makes sense. Thanks for any help!1.5KViews0likes6Comments- 1.7KViews0likes4Comments
Index/match formatting error?
Hi, I'm on Windows 10 and Office 365. I believe I'm making a formatting error when trying to continue a formula down a list. The current formula I'm using is " =INDEX(M5:O5,MATCH(A4,L5:L2965,0),MATCH(A4,Q4:Q2694,0),MATCH(MAX(R4:T4),R4:T4,0)) ". I'm trying to get find the max result from colum R S T for each row, this will then match with a product ID from M N O and this is the figure I'm wanting in my cell. I have the first value correct but whenever I try and extend the formula down the list i get "#REF!". Any help is greatly appreciated.Solved1.9KViews0likes6Comments
