Make sure the client is the very latest remote desktop client downloaded from here https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2139369 as well as the client registry keys. I would say that the the store app may have the release but the store app releases are always after the msi version. Just to confirm can you advise exactly what reg keys you were asked to set I assume 1) HKEY_CURRENT_USER \SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\IsSwapChainRenderingEnabled 00000000 (is it a reg binary on the local client (where Remote desktop client is installed) 2) I can't work out what the disable_hw_decode.reg is as the setting "Disable GPU hardware acceleration (requires restarting Teams)" on the session host where Teams is ran from can only be set by a powershell as its not held in the registry. thanks5.3KViews0likes13CommentsRe: Azure Virtual desktop (AVD) Microsoft Teams flickers green after some time when on meeting
Does the Green Screen when sharing issue follow the version of the C++ redistributable on the Client Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 redistributable (x64) 14.32.31332 Not working Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 redistributable (x64) 14.32.28127.4 Might be Working (needs further tests). mstevenhartman Its my understanding that AVD does not support password change after and expiry. Citrix When logging into the netscaler recognizes that your password has expired and prompts the end user to update the password. I have not seen anything in the roadmap for AVD to implement this either. I can only suggest instructing the users to press CTRL ALT END whilst in the app to change password before it expires. Did you ever make the controls for this policy more granular ? when I set the Clear Browsing data on close Group Policy I have no way of changing the passwords options so users do not lose the saved passwords on every close The only granular policies I can see are Clear cached images and files when Microsoft Edge Closes & Clear browsing data when Microsoft Edge Closes I dont see any other Group policies for the other granular settings (specfically passwords),.4.7KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Background blur in GA on Microsoft Teams on Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365
When rolling out AVD to 100s of users do I use the 1) "windows 10 multisession + Microsoft 365 Apps" image or do I install the 2) windows 10 multi session and install the Teams Machine Wide installer separately ? or does it not make any difference.3.3KViews0likes0Comments
