Removing cloud file storage options

Hi,

 

We want the ability to remove the Add Cloud Storage button from the files section in Teams. So we tested this but there seems to be difference between the Desktop App and browser version of Teams.

 

We did the following on the admin console to switch off cloud file options - Selected Org-Wide Settings, Selected Team Settings, under the files section  switched all options to Off.

 

When a user logged onto the desktop version of Teams they did not have the 'Add Cloud Storage' option HOWEVER when logged into Teams via a browser the option is still visible under files.

 

Can someone please let me know if this is a bug or is there something else that we need to do to remove the option from the browser version of Teams..?

    https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/company-wide-settings/teams-settings

     

    You can also search for "cloud file storage" for this settings.
