Surface Pro 7 Sleep broken following Sept Update

Following the Sept cumulative update, my Surface Pro 7 shutsdown when it should be entering sleep mode.  I've played with the power settings and limit how often the device goes into sleep mode but I haven't had any luck getting sleep mode to actually work.  I was surprised to see it but the bios was also updated at the same time.  Any help is appreciated!
