Skype Room Systems v2 (SRS v2) devices based on Surface Pro 4 (SP4) may observe issues after being upgraded to Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703). For example, the notification "skype-mrx:// Invalid value for registry" may display when the SRS v2 application attempts to launch or the on-screen soft keyboard may act unpredictably. SRS v2 devices based on SP4 can be recovered from these types of issues by following the instructions below.
NOTE 1: Unlike SP4, SRS v2 devices using the new Surface Pro based systems come loaded with Window 10 Creators Update pre-installed so no action is required.
NOTE 2: See March 30th, 2018 blog article to address issues when devices upgraded to Windows 10 Version 1709.
