I am global admin on our O365 and we have a number of sharepoint sites and users. All of a sudden today, our users when attempting to open a word or excel document from our sharepoint libraries are getting the following message "cannot download the information you requested" and this is happening to even myself who is the global admin. Users can open word and excel docs in the browser option, but this is not the best way to work on large spreadsheets. Check in/out is enabled, and like I said everything was working fine yesterday.
Does anyone know a fix for this? Could it be something inside the admin centre as it's just started happening?
We have 20 or so users this is effecting now so I need help fast if possible.
