SharePoint Modern View disappearing?
Anyone else encountering problems with Modern view recently? Two things noticed this AM. 1. The rename dialogue window refused to show (using Edge, Win10 1607). 2. One of SPO Site folders refuses to come up in Modern view.
I set that folder to always go to Modern because our tenant has not gotten the Modern View yet. To my knowledge, we did not do anything that should have pushed our sites to classic view. I made sure the SPO Lists and Libraries experience is set to new experience (auto detect). About a month ago, Microsoft was unable to tell my what was holding my tenant from switching.
With the Rename-dialogue issue, I had to choose ... switch to classic view. Then the rename worked.

Similar problem in my tenant.
I have all the list & document libraries setup to use List Experience = "Default experience set by my administrator".
On Admin portal, my IT team (I'm not Admin of the tenant) show me that the option for list & libraries is set to "New Experience (Auto Detect)".
Despite of above options settings, my old lists are still in the classic experience, and worst this happens also for new lists/libraries!
The only way for me is to go to list settings and force the "New Experience" instead of "Default experience set by my administrator"
Guys, I recommend you to open support tickets about these issues. I'm not seeing any of them, but I'm seeing a really bad performance when browsing the document library of a Group that is using the new UI cc LincolnDeMaris
You make a good point, Juan. Thanks. As of today, my Modern-View locations are working again. I'm not sure what the hiccup was.
I have learned the art of waiting a bit, before rushing to resolve something. My purpose of posting here was to see how widespread my issue was. As far as getting the Modern View, it would be nice if I could push it for certain SPO sites. Now my choices are libraries on a site, or accross ALL sites.
