SharePoint Modern site - anchor section to navigation bar.

Question

hi&nbsp;Is there way to anchor the link of a section from a page to navigation bar and when user click on the menu will view the particular section not the whole page?&nbsp;As of now, I see that it just open up the page, even after I put the link of the anchor section to the navigation bar.&nbsp;How come it can be done on the quick link and not the navigation bar with the same link?&nbsp; think it is really useful to have it on the navigation bar.&nbsp;&nbsp;thanks&nbsp;

I am having the same issue bbsin. Unfortunately that article doesn't help.Why would something so simple and so useful not work? Very frustrating.
