I created buttons with links on my home SharePoint site but they are all different sizes. I know it resizes to the amount of text but is there another way to do this so that all buttons are same size?
As far as I know, there are no options "out of the box" to resize the "Button" web part.
You can get a similar look and function to "Button" with the "Quick links" web part using the "Button" layout and "Fill color" appearance.
