I am looking for a way to open up a desktop app when clicking on the file in Sharepoint. We have files stored using Sharepoint with the extension of .vwx (used in application called Vectorworks). When that file is clicked on in the browser, I would like it to open the application necessary, rather than having the user download the file before opening it.
Thoughts?
