Modern List Board not respecting filters
I have a List with 1100 items in it. Going into List Settings > Views I can update all the filters and they work great. We are filtering Projects on Projects Size.
When I try to make a Board view on the list I can filter on only one item. like Project Size = Large. As soon as it's more than one, like Project Size = Medium or Small, many of the cards don't show on the board. The numbers in the columns on the board are correct, eg 17, but only 7 cards will show.
When I open the filter sidebar on the board, it shows Small and Medium being filter. If I uncheck and then recheck Medium.
Side note: when I was trying to post this I kept getting 'Maximum flood limit reached'. Don't know what that is. Microsoft please fix.
- Adeboye_OlaideCopper ContributorHi Ross,
It sounds like you're having a tough time with the Board view not showing all your items correctly. Here are a few quick tips to try:
Filter Check: Double-check your filter settings in both the Board view and List Settings to make sure they're aligned. Sometimes hidden filters can cause issues.
Refresh: After changing any filters, refresh the page to ensure everything updates properly.
Try a Different View: If the Board view keeps acting up, see if a Standard or Gallery view works better for your needs.
Clear Cache: Sometimes clearing your browser cache or trying a different browser can help.
Report to Microsoft: If you're still having issues, especially with the 'Maximum flood limit reached' error, consider reporting it to Microsoft. They may be able to help!
I hope this helps get your Board view back on track!
Best,
