Mapped Drive Azure AD Joined Device

Does anybody have any experience of following the standard ‘mapped drive’ procedure on an Azure AD joined Windows 10 device?

I assume that when using an Azure AD joined device the user would not experiance the token expires issue?

I have tried this with on-premise domain joined computers that have linked Azure AD credentials.  The advantage is internet explorer doesn't prompt for a password, but it does need to be opened every 14 days to keep the tokens.
